The founders of the Pirate Bay, the world’s most popular file-sharing site, have been taken to court by high-profile movie firms, which have accused them of distributing film and TV programs.
If convicted, the men, Frederik Neij, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, Peter Sunde Kolmsioppi and Carl Lundstorm, face up to two years in prison and a fine of $143,500 each.
